“Our journey with Dushman was a great pleasure from start to finish. We planned our route together, and he gave us excellent recommendations for stops along the way. Thanks to his local knowledge, he showed us beautiful tea plantations, viewpoints, waterfalls and other places we might otherwise have missed. As we were somewhat limited in our mobility, we were very dependent on the car. Dushman took great care of us, driving us as close as possible to every destination and always being ready when it was time to continue. We always felt safe and well looked after. His calm, careful and pleasant driving style deserves special praise. We had wonderful conversations and learned a lot about Sri Lanka, its people and culture. We also enjoyed spontaneous stops at roadside fruit sellers, where we could try fresh, perfectly ripe local fruit for very little money. At our request, Dushman also took us to authentic local restaurants. He even gave us a small offering for the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which was a very thoughtful gesture. We had a fantastic time with Dushman and can wholeheartedly recommend him as a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable guide and driver.”
